OURA lamps use LED light sources. LED is a green energy source that is now widely used in the market and consumes much less energy than traditional tungsten filament bulbs.
If used 24 hours a day, all year round, the annual electricity bill for a 50W product is about NT$1,300; for a 6W product, the electricity bill is only about NT$150.
Generally speaking, it is not turned on all day, so the electricity bill will be much lower.
It is recommended to refer to the product parameter table for judgment.
For the numerical value, you can first use the height of the pot to determine the vertical distance between the lamp and the plant, and then use the width to measure the number of lamps.
The OURA series of lamps have a 3D uniform lighting effect, which can basically evenly illuminate the foliage of plants. Therefore, the matching of the lamps mainly depends on the actual interior design effect and the direction of the plant appearance.
Currently, OURA products offer a one-year warranty on lamps and power supplies.
All lamps are subjected to reliability tests (high temperature and high humidity for 1,080 hours) before shipment.
According to the definition of the world's largest LED manufacturer, if the light decay is less than 30% after cross-testing in extreme environments, the lamp can be used for more than 50,000 hours. Oura lamps have been tested to have a light decay of less than 15%. Based on this data, we estimate that our OURA lamps have a lifespan of more than five years under normal conditions of heat dissipation and normal use.
The power supply is made up of electronic components and is therefore consumable, so its lifespan is shorter than that of the lamp itself.
OURA products are not full-spectrum. Our spectrum primarily targets the light required by plants, enhancing the red light (wavelength 610nm-720nm) and blue light (wavelength 400nm-520nm) to provide the light quality required for indoor plant growth and photosynthesis.
Our optical spectrum shows a decreasing trend in both the ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths, so there are not many problems with red and ultraviolet rays.
3D uniform light is a patented feature of OURA lighting products.
If we use actual data to illustrate, we use the top of the plant after the light source is installed as point A, and use the vertical distance of 50 cm and the horizontal distance of 50 cm as points B and C respectively. The PPFD data of points B and C can still maintain about 77~80% of the light intensity.
Compared to general products on the market, which can only maintain about 10-20% of the light intensity at this distance, OURA's products can provide plants with a more uniform and three-dimensional light source for growth.

While ceiling lights can indeed provide lighting for indoor plants, their wattage is often between 300 and 500 watts, and their overall design tends to be industrial.
The light projected by OURA is relatively soft, creating a morning experience and a comfortable indoor atmosphere. Besides meeting the needs of plant growth, this lamp can also be used in the design of home leisure spaces, creating added value for the lamp.
OURA grow lights are primarily designed for indoor plant care and offer a 3D light distribution effect. Therefore, it is recommended to illuminate from above for optimal results.
Outdoor landscape design needs to take anti-splashing issues into consideration and will serve as a reference for OURA's future product development.
If the designer uses calcium silicate board as the ceiling material, because this material is flame retardant, there is no problem in directly attaching the chandelier to the ceiling.
If the ceiling is not made of flame-retardant material, it is recommended to place flame-retardant materials between the lamp power supply and the ceiling, and reserve maintenance holes for future renovation or replacement.
Mainly for heat dissipation needs.
While most products on the market expose the heat sink outside the product, OURA has designed the heat sink inside the lamp, giving the overall decorative effect a more refined feel.
In addition, compared to the typical 50W lamps on the market, OURA's products are relatively small in size.
